Acanthus with stainless steel rims. New signature model of Takeshi Matsuura.
The signature model of Takeshi Matsuura, Acanthus, has been updated to a bimetal design. He is the 2008, 2010, 2014, and 2016 World Champion in the 5A (counterweight) Division.
The original high-end operability and impressive sleeping power have been further enhanced by the addition of a stainless steel inner rim. The response you feel through the string absorbs excess force as if it is guiding you to the correct movement.
As a bimetal version of the signature model for 5A, of course it's intended to be used for counterweight play, but it also boasts a very high suitability for standard string trick play.
