This 2011 version 888 is a special Jason Lee edition.
The 888 is back once again for a 2011 revision, with some minor improvements made to it. You can probably see the minor changes made to the body shape, but we assure you that these small changes have greatly affected the way the yo-yo feels.
In addition to the body shape, this version is slightly lighter than the previous 888, a decision made with speedy play in mind. The trademark hubstacks are of course present. With the recently released multi-color hubstacks, you can enjoy your own personalized variation. If you don't care for the hubstacks, try the knob covers available here.
The first 888 was released back in 2007, and since the first lot it's slowly matured into one of the best and most popular yo-yos in the world. With this version, we expect it to keep its title.
This version is a signature edition for the charismatic 2001 US 1A Champion, Jason Lee. Each side boasts a different engraving, making this a very attractive model for collectors as well.
