Magic YoYo - 7075 Skyva
This full metal Skyva is made using 7075 Aluminum.
7075 aluminum is a popular material for high-end yo-yos, and is used in a large share of models from asian makers that are looking for something harder and more durable against bumps and dings than the standard 6061 alloy. This Skyva is an upgraded version of Magic YoYo's popular low-cost throw, utilizing 7075 for the body. Just like the original metal Skyva, it has POM sidecap containing the fingerspin scoop. The design is also identical, except for the body material. But that one difference changes a whole lot!
For one, the 7075 Skyva feels a bit heavier in the hand, and unlike the 6061 version, which had a distinct "multi-material" playfeel, the 7075 Skyva plays a lot more like a straightforward full metal top. A small change paves the way for big gains, so reach for the Skyva!
