Choosing the right string is very important when it comes to how easy it is to play with a yo-yo.
There are many different strings on the market, including imitations, cheap products, and old-generation products, but using the right strings will help you improve your game and prevent accidents. Yo-yo Store REWIND carries high-quality strings made "for competitive yo-yos."
There are many types of strings available, so if you are having trouble choosing one, please refer to the following.
Strings are made up of the following combinations of A and B.
A. Thickness
Standard ( Type 6 (50/50) , Type 6 (Poly 100), etc.): For beginner models
Thick ( bind strings , C3 Pro Strings (Fat), etc.): For string trick models (bind, metal)
Fine ( slim string (for loops) etc.): For looping models

B. Material <br>This is the material of the twisted threads.
・100% cotton → Not recommended as it tears easily.
- 50% cotton / 50% polyester (50/50) - Made with half polyester mixed in for durability.
・100% polyester → 50% polyester is stronger and has better glide than other strings.
There are many other materials available, but these are the three most commonly used.
