C3yoyodesign - Seeker by you
High performance looping yo-yo equipped with a gap adjustment feature that can be customized to your preference
This model is a test model produced for testing the gap adjustment mechanism. The mechanism is handcrafted, and each part is custom-made in small quantities specifically for this test model. There are no plans to reproduce exactly the same model, and we plan to continue developing models with gap adjustment mechanisms based on the feedback obtained from this model.
This model features the gap adjustment mechanism while retaining the body and starburst of C3yoyodesign's looping model, Seeker. It is equipped with a unique mechanism that allows you to adjust and fix the response strength to your preference with infinite variability.
In looping models where even the slightest difference in gap width can significantly change the feel, being able to adjust the response infinitely to your preference becomes a major advantage.
As players reach advanced levels of looping play, subtle differences may appear in their play, and preferences may change depending on the trick. With this Seeker by you, you can create a looping model that is optimal for you in any situation.
Precautions
- This product is intended for those who are familiar with looping play and have some understanding of how gap differences and the structure of looping models affect looping tricks. If you are a beginner in looping or are unsure about fine adjustments, please consider the company's "Seeker" model.
- Applying too much oil to the axle may affect the gap adjustment mechanism. Please remove the bearing and apply oil only to the bearing.
- If the cap becomes loose, do not push it in as is. Please disassemble the yo-yo first and then push it in.
- Parts are not compatible with the original Seeker.
How to Adjust the Gap
The mechanism allows the gap to change freely by loosening the gap adjustment screw, and then fixing it by tightening the adjustment screw at your preferred gap.
- With the yo-yo assembled, loosen the adjustment screw in the center of the cap just enough so it doesn't come off.
- The gap will now change freely. In this state, it will continue to tighten until the bodies make contact.
- Tighten the adjustment screw to fix it at your preferred gap.
- The gap is now fixed. It can be disassembled in this state. The gap will not change even when disassembled.
