This renewal model features 7075 aluminum alloy paired with machined POM Plastic.
The side face features the artwork of Yukiko's business card from storybook 7 in the STURM PANZER companion series. The design combines 7075 aircraft aluminum with POM plastic, making this a very eye catching multi-material design. It was originally designed in 2015, but the design was very difficult to manufacture at the time, and so only a handful were produced. Since then, Sturm Panzer has upgraded to a manufacturing facility that specializes in yo-yos. They've upgraded the locking mechanism for the POM cowl, and now are able to engrave their design onto both side faces.
The RY-007 is a 7075 aluminum body covered with a POM plastic cowl, leaving some empty space between the two materials by design. This allows them to control the weight distribution without changing the outer shape of the yo-yo, improving stability during play and even when the yo-yo is off-axis. The soft texture of POM is a nice added bonus.
The RY-007 utilizes a size D bearing, giving the YUKIKO plenty of power, surpassing even the bimetal Leo Sniper series in this regard.
Set includes:
Sturm Panzer Storybook #7 (A5 size, 34 pages)
RY-007 YUKIKO
Spare response pads x2
Maker Comment:
The bearing is a CP-06 9-ball bearing. If you wish to power-up your RY-007, we suggest you change out the bearing for a Dif-e-Yo Konkave bearing of the same size. Please note that you take responsibility for modifying your yo-yo.
The response pads are the CP-09 Blade Attack (Economy) pads. We've included a couple of spares with the yo-yo.
Any marks, blemishes, or imperfections are a result of the manufacturing process, and have been tested to ensure they do not affect performance.
