CLYW - Metal Yeti
The Yeti has powered up for a full metal treatment!
The Yeti, one of CLYW's largest releases has grown up into a full metal beast! The shape is mostly the same as the original; with a diameter of 58.5mm and a width of 45mm, it's closing in on an oversized body. By the numbers it's only a few millimeters off from full size specs, but players know that a few mm can make a huge difference. The Yeti beautifully blends the high performance with a big, light feeling.
Even at the same specs and profile, the change of material is like creating a completely different yo-yo. In this case, compared to the Yeti sporting a mainly plastic body, the Metal Yeti feels like the body walls have been shaved down further, in order to preserve the balance of the original.
The power of metal brilliantly shines through the snow-covered trees. Play some oversized yo-yos first, then you'll truly appreciate what the Metal Yeti brings to the stage. You can rely on it to stay spinning true till the very end of its spin, no matter what you throw at it.

Official Description
We are beyond thrilled to introduce the Metal Yeti.
The Yeti has been our most challenging project ever. Two plastic iterations came and went with varying degrees of success, rife with challenges, and both ended their lifespans early due to production problems that we just couldn’t quite solve. But the shape and the feel were just too. damn. good and we couldn’t give up on it, so we went back to what we do best...precision metal.
The Metal Yeti is a beautiful halfway point between nostalgia and the new new, with a play style that really makes us feel like it’s an instant classic. (Fun fact, the hub stickers are left over from the very first Yeti production run!) Something about this return top is just “perfect Caribou” and none of us can put our prototypes down. We’re so excited for everyone to try these that we even made a lot more than usual to get the price down so that we could make them even more affordable.
