Kayak is the first yo-yo that CLYW can proudly proclaim is the signature model of 2002 and 2007 1A world champion, Yuuki Spencer.

In the early days of bind response, Yuuki had already made a name for himself as a trick creator for the young string trick (1A) division. Claiming the 1A title in 2002 and again in 2007, Yuuki is one of the legends of yo-yo and we have much to thank him for.

His new signature model, the Kayak is a wide-bodied, full size yo-yo. It has the double rim design of the Chief, and the side face is mostly flat with a subtle concave cone right over the axle, making it easier to hit fingerspin/top-on style tricks as the yo-yo guides itself right over your fingertip. The Kayak throws beautifully, with a very good sense of control. The Kayak really exemplifies the benefits of CLYW's double rim design, and is sure to become their new affordable full metal flagship model.
