From off string beginners to the forefront of competition. Ciel is an off string yo-yo for a wide range of players.

Japan Technology is proud to offer this yo-yo to all off-string players. It looks very similar to the Amulette Pro, but weighs about 2 grams more and has a more stable spin. This weight plays an important role to let you feel its position even when it's away from the string, creating a sense of security and focus during play. 

With replaceable spacers (sold separately) that allow for fine adjustment of the return, coupled with the ample width and manageable size, it is recommended for a wide range of players, from beginners to competitors.

The Ciel was used by Koyo Hashimoto, a JT team member, to place 3rd in 4A at the 2023 World Championships.

The following spacers are included in the initial production run only.

We have thoroughly analyzed the elements necessary to satisfy a wide range of players, from those new to off string to those on the front lines pushing competition tricks further.

We sized it to be easy to play for adults, women, and children alike. Attention was also paid to individual differences (force, habits, string length) found when throwing yo-yos.

Weight distribution to maintain stable spin and an overall weight that provides a sense of security both indoors and outdoors were researched and reflected in the design.

In the contest scene, we pursued a shape that can cover a full range of mainstream tricks and a body balance that can support acrobatic performances from various positions.
