ll yo-yos have passed the manufacturer's inspection. Different manufacturers have different standards for product quality. Basically, products that can be used normally are within the product specifications.

Examples of possible initial defects : If you notice any of the following symptoms immediately after opening the product, it may be due to an initial defect.

  • (Bind model only) The bearing barely turns even when flicked with a finger.
  • Even after calming the vibrations with a rotating middle finger, the yo-yo still vibrates so much that it appears to change shape.
  • Parts that should have been installed (bearings/pads) are not installed

Examples of items that are not considered initial defects

  • Damage to the package
  • Color image difference
  • Bearing noises after playing a few times
  • A yo-yo that was delivered in a properly assembled state, but after being disassembled, could no longer be assembled
  • Scratches and paint chips inside the bearing area
  • The color unevenness of the yo-yo is not noticeable from a distance.
  • Paint chipping that is not visible from a distance
  • Scratches on the yo-yo that are not visible from a distance and are barely noticeable when touched with your fingers

Candy Dice - Candy Dice Pro DK

This dice is almost as smooth as its signature player, Daigo Komiya. Lightweight and silky texture show the value of a quality collaboration.

Made with the concept of making 5A play easy to casually try and explore, Candy Dice Pro DK is a refined version of the Candy Dice Pro. Daigo is a former Team Werrd member and has a lot of fans around the world, famously delivering a dazzling performance at the 2014 44CLASH event finals.

It has a shape that feels wrapped in a bubble, made like the Candy Dice Pro Comet with thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), which has a soft strike that you barely notice when you bonk yourself. On top of the shape and material, the design was created to withstand the same rigors of the old soft ball-style counterweight.

Direction changes, hits and tricks are easier than ever, creating new ways to explore your 5A play. Lightweight and rounded, the DK feels like the descendent of the original Duncan Monkey Ball, and is sure to find some fans amongst those old school players as well as 5A players who like to go fast and light.

It took about two years of testing and prototyping to develop the DK. We've found it a great pairing with a slightly longer string. Try with your own hand the Candy Dice difference!

*compared to other Candy Dice, the DK is moulded at high temperature, and the string groove down the middle may be a little on the narrow side. This is part of the design and manufacturing process to deliver you the best material for the job.


About Candy Dice:
2001 X Division world champion and REWIND Shibuya store manager, Shingo "Terry" Terada joined forces with 3D printing mastermind Hideki Toho (AKA YOYOMAKER) to focus solely on the other side of the 5A string, focusing exclusively on counterweights.

"We want to foster a style of 5A play that makes it easy for anyone to pick up and try" was the concept at its heard, and so they innovated new ways to easily add a counterweight to a 1A yo-yo. This ease of use set them apart from other options, and they've never stopped innovating, with many collaborations with other makers, including the original Duncan. They keep things fresh with cool new colors in limited runs, making them great collectables.

Warnings:
Candy Dice are usually 3D printed
Because of this, there is some individual variation between units
There are also lamination layers because of the 3D printing process.
Made from plastic, please do not put in your mouth.
You can damage your counterweight if it's struck against a hard surface very fast, so please be cautious while playing.
