All yo-yos have passed the manufacturer's quality inspection. Quality standards vary by manufacturer. Basically, products that can be used normally are within product specifications.

Yo-yoing splits into two main styles. String tricks (1A), where the yo-yo lands on the string, and looping tricks (2A), where it travels in circles. The two demand different movements, so each needs a yo-yo built for it.
Looping is also built around holding one yo-yo in each hand, which means you need two. This set is simply that lineup, assembled for you.
REWIND offers three beginner sets. If you want to try both string tricks and looping, this is the one that covers both in a single purchase.

For the Loop 720. Keeps the strong, responsive return that looping tricks depend on.
For the Onestar in bind setup. Protects the bearing and preserves long sleep times.
If a standard Onestar (the responsive, comes-back-when-you-tug setup) starts returning poorly, try a small amount of looping oil.
Start with the sleeper on the Onestar. Alongside it, hold a Loop 720 in each hand and get a feel for looping. Working both hands early pays off later.
Once the basics are comfortable, swap the bearing and try binding. If it proves difficult you can put the original bearing back and keep practising, so there is no hard step to clear.
Swap the pads too for a full competition setup, and take looping to two hands. With both styles open to you, the modern yo-yo world is wide.
