YoYoFactory - Arrow
With a fingerspin side cap, the Arrow makes a great, easy to handle step-up beginner yo-yo!
YYF built the Arrow using a large nut in the inner workings, which toughens up the design and gives it plenty of power, whilst still making it easy to control. From the time a beginner learns to properly throw and spin their yo-yo to hitting the intermediate wall known as "bind response," beyond which lies a bountiful field of infinite string trick possibilities, the Arrow supports the beginning yo-yo player up to, and over that wall!
The side face has a small concave area directly over the hub, allowing you to mount the spinning yo-yo over the tip of your finger to perform "fingerspin" tricks. It's an unusual addition to a beginner yo-yo, giving you the ability to try a very impressive trick early on. This side cap has a special design that gives the yo-yo more power and stability, making it easier to practice with.
Thanks to this power, you can get a really nice spin with little effort. This version of the Arrow is designed to have the perfect settings for beginners, giving them an easy chance to learn and practice the basics. Once you've mastered the fundamentals, you can open up the yo-yo and swap out the bearing with the size C bearing (included). The thicker size C bearing will change the Arrow to a bind response setting, meaning it will no longer come back with a tug, and will need a bind trick to bring it back. This setting greatly increases sleep times, giving you more time to practice harder tricks with each throw.
We highly recommend the Arrow both to true beginners and players with a little experience who haven't picked up a yo-yo in a while. The Arrow will help bring you up to speed and support your growth from the basics all the way to the contest stage.
