The next generation of Vanitas, with titanium rims.
This is the second signature model of Leo Chan, the 2019 Hong Kong Champion. Based on the previous Vanitas model, there are two major changes: the first is the switch from stainless steel to titanium rims. The second is a slight reduction in both diameter and width. While it is still a wide 48mm bimetal design, it has greatly improved mobility and maneuverability, and is easier to speed up with less force than the stainless steel rim.
Simply put, it feels like a Vanitas with improved maneuverability. From a distance, there does not seem to be much difference between the two models, but when you use them, the difference is obvious. This new model is another one that we hope you will try with all your tricks, taking advantage of its wide-format design.
The name "Satinav," in case you haven't guessed already, is the reverse spelling of "Vanitas." By inverting the letters, "Ti" appears in the center, and Sat-nav, we get "satellite navigation." This connection was discovered by chance and got adopted as the actual name, and the artwork is stamped with a uniquely designed logo that shows this wordplay.
