Japan Technology has gone for an inverse round shape for the first time in about 8 years in this bimetal model, characterized by its rugged and sharp silhouette. At 66.0g, it is not the lightest model in the world, but it has fantastic control and is the best at small turns. In fact, you can enjoy the pleasant feeling of physics as weight is converted into acceleration. Like putting your hand on a purring motor and knowing what's going on under the hood.

The weight also provides a high degree over control while running full speed, and the design gives you full reigns without a chance of going where you don't want it. Owner Atsushi Yamada analyzed recent freestyle trends to design the Shade. This competition model incorporates the required elements in a well-balanced manner, and has been adjusted from the specifications to the details around the bearings.

This yo-yo is a wonder that combines dependable stability with instantaneous power when moving into high-speed combos.
