Description
TurningPoint - Maxbet
Kentaro Kimura’s special creation, the ultimate 3A yo-yo.
3A (AAA, Triple A) is a style of string tricks using a yo-yo attached to each hand. Unlike the single-handed 1A, with two hands, you have twice the string and many times more opportunity to get tangled up in them. 3A is not for the impatient, or the faint of heart. Getting a solid sleep and return is a challenge with both hands, and even if you aren’t attempting a difficult trick, sleep loss can quickly lead to frustration and lots of untangling. Speed and stability are especially important in 3A, and Maxbet was made to maximize both of them.
Maxbet has inherited its stability from TurningPoint’s masterpieces, and been further developed for enhanced 3A play. The new body shape now includes a low edge and a fairly large body, with a new brilliant multi-step profile. This translates to much less sleep loss, allowing for longer, more successful 3A combos and a new sense of confidence. Kimura, who shook the world with his championship performance at 2009 worlds, designed Maxbet to be the ideal 3A yo-yo, but you don’t have to take his word for it.
For the players just breaking into 3A, or for established players, we can easily recommend the Maxbet to players of all levels. Of course, this also makes for outstanding 1A play.
