The first YoYoJoker model to sport a size D bearing.
Xross Road (pronounced "crossroad") is 2012 EJ-A (East Japan Regional Contest, A Block) 3A Champion and member of team YoYoJoker, Ken Takabayashi's signature model. As it was designed by a 3A champion, the Xross Road has been built specifically for 3A style play.
In 3A play, the most important feature a yo-yo can have is "stability," as you intricately weave the strings of two different yo-yos together, the last thing you want is either of them to wobble out of control! Xross Road is the first yo-yo in YoYoJoker's lineup to use the size D bearing, which provides slightly more powerful spin. With more spin, the gyroscopic effect keeps the yo-yo spinning more straight and true than the standard size C bearing. Following the tradition set by the DoubleJoker, Xross Road boasts a sharp inverse round shape to minimize friction and sleep loss during play. With all these features, the Xross Road is a magnificent 3A yo-yo.
Naturally lending his hand to the design is YoYoJoker owner Daisuke Shimada, whos accomplishments include winning the 2002 X-division using 3A, then sweeping the new 3A division at Worlds from 2003 to 2005.
Of course, the Xross Road is no slouch in the 1A division. Players are always looking for something to increase their accuracy and success rate. If you're serious about improving your game, you owe it to yourself to try out the Xross Road.
